Jackie Tucker defeated Nancy Nishikawa this morning 21-4 to claim the Women's Singles title.

Thursday, November 1, 7pm

The mens competition is over … but the women play on.

Nancy Nishikawa will play a one game playoff with Jackie Tucker from the Southeast Division to determine the winner of Women's Singles. They both finished with 6-1 records.

Eva Lee & Kim Heiser of the Southwest Stars will play a one game playoff tomorrow against Robin Olson & Tanya Hills from the Southwest Stripes division. They both finished with 5-2 records.
Debbie Tupper & Pam Edwards won both of their games today and finished with a 4-3 record.

Dick and Bob Sayer from the Northeast Division won the Men's Pairs with a 5-1-1 record. Richard Broad and Doug Bradley finished with a 5-2 record (tied for second place).

Jim Olsen from the Southwest Stars Division won the Men's Singles with a 6-1 record.
Richard Krueger finished with a 4-3 record and tied for 3rd Place.

The Northwest had a fine showing this week. If you look at the number of total wins, only the Southwest Stars had a better showing.

Richard Broad and Doug Bradley lost a heart-breaker of a last game to finish 2nd in the men's pairs. Nancy Nishikawa is the Northwest's last hope for a 1st place finish. She will play in a one game playoff tomorrow morning to decide who wins the women's singles. More later …

Richard Broad & Doug Bradley find themselves alone in first place after today's games. Nancy Nishikawa won one and lost one and is now tied for first. Richard Krueger split his games today, as did Debbie Tupper & Pam Edwards.

Tuesday, Oct. 30

Nancy Nishikawa won both her games today and is undefeated in women's singles. All the other northwest bowlers split their games today. Click above for the results.

Monday, Oct 29

Our bowlers from JPLBC faired well in the first day of the US Championships in Sun City Center, Florida against players from the Pacific Inter-Mountain division.

Richard Broad and Doug Bradley defeated Tom and Jonathan Burnoski.

Richard Krueger defeated Peter Knopf.

Nancy Nishikawa defeated Laura Lewis.

Debbie Tupper & Pam Edwards from Portland lost to Sandy Souza & Marie Guterres.

There was one game today (Monday). The division playdown winners will play two games each day Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.

Doug Bradley is going to try and update me with scores, so check back for tomorrow's results.
