12-noon to 4 p.m.

On May 8th, clubs across the nation opened their doors to visitors and guests. In Seattle, this included the Jefferson Park and Woodland Park lawn bowling clubs.
- FREE lessons were given
- Friends, families and neighbors discovered something new
- Flat-soled shoes were worn, of course!
The game of bowls can hook you. It's fun. It's social. Competitive. Straight forward, yet complex.
It's played by all sorts of people, all over the world: blue and white collar, young and old, serious and recreational.
More than 75 people checked their bias at the door, took a chance, and tried it.
What happened? Fun happened.
Haven't tried it yet? It's not too late -- Come out for Friday Night BBQ & Bowling from May 21 to Sept 10, 2010.
