The 2013 NW Singles Tournament was held on four days starting Saturday, July 20.  By noon on Sunday Amy Alesio had scampered to victory and the crown with three straight wins.  On the Men's side, seasoned veteran Richard Broad came within one point of being eliminated on day one. He then won six in a row to reach the Final Tuesday afternoon. Russ Leonard won that game and the Tournament.  He will join his wife, Janice Bell, competing in the US Championships later this year.  A married couple has represented the NW Division several times, but this is the first in recent memory that their names have not been Nishikawa.

Many thanks to Richard Krueger for running the Singles Playdowns this year.
